Excellent Tax tool

Fore the most part this is similar to the previous versions. I did have issues with when I saved the tax return I was working via "easy steps' and when I returned it did not take me to where I had stopped. I had to manually find that point to continue.

2025 Taxes Using TurboTax

I have been using TurboTax for over 20 years. The uniformity of the process is important as is the ability to go step by step or reference a specific area. I appreciate the accuracy of the data and I can compare the new report to the old reports. This compatibility to previous years is important. Sometimes the features of TurboTax change but it is intuitive. I prefer my interface to the product on a desktop computer. One of the features I use is the e-file system with direct deposit.

Still great, but usability is slipping

I have always considered TurboTax to be an industry benchmark for usability. However, it now sometimes generates confusing messages that I have reached out to AI apps to investigate what it means and how to respond. TurboTax needs to get back to its user-friendly UIs, especially with state returns. Also I don't appreciate the multiple screens of sales pitches for add-ons.
