The calcs for state tax exempt interest (Savings Bonds) is incorrect when there is other 1099-INT included for the same institution. This was correct last year.

TurboTax Works Well

TurboTax worked well for my situation. Some items, like consulting income, were not clear. I had to do a google search to find out answers to some of the questions on Schedule C, and manually fill out parts of Schedule C as TT did not prompt me.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

While the actual tax return process was similar to previous years and easy to follow, I did have multiple issues with trying to transmit the tax return this year.

Lost Financial Info

The TurboTax 2025, did not carry over my financial information. It showed my personal info, name, address, ssn, etc. but financial info: institutions, address, account numbers, etc. had to be typed in again. Also my checking account info was also missing at the end. Having this info carried over year to year made using TurboTax easy and convenient. This year it was a pain.

SSA1099's

had a problem with SSA1099, a loop which wouldn't let me edit 45 minute wait, 45 minutes with Expert tech and I had to redo everything. Could have just told me to try using FORMS which I found out on line and it worked first time. Wasted my time with going through Turbo Tax
