Turbo Tax is the best.

Slow going at first. Tax documents arrived very late. The Intuit app did not get updated until late January because of factors they have no control over. I made entries early on with info I had and where possible on the app platform.
Once all docs were received and app was updated, I had all entries completed and my fed return and VA return done and filed two and a half hours later. I am very pleased and Turbo Tax continues to be the best. Thanks for all you do.

State filing fee = BAD

So disappointing that there's a fee to e-file my state return. The cost of the software is expensive, so this extra cost hurts.

Printing Issues

The only issue I had with this year's software is when I went to print copies your forms are all PDF's. When my pc converted them to word documents, the cells and boxes where numbers were to go didn't line up, so now my printed documents aren't really good documents to look at.

State problem

Have always given turbo tax a 5 because it easily met my needs in preparing a relatively simple return. In past years, I prepared my state return in turbo tax, but transferred all the info to the state website and filed it directly with the state to avoid the extra filing fee. Decided to "splurge" this year an avoid the hassle of having to transfer all my info to the state website. It was only AFTER paying the fee that I learned that Turbotax does not have a way to attach the required documentation for a state credit. So now I need to figure out how to do that through the state website. VERY DISAPPOINTED and QUITE ANNOYED.

TurboTax a pain this year w/o It's Deductible

Guidance & Features. I hate that you removed It's Deductible! Guidance awful. Turbotax showed that charitable info was available to be entered but when I laboriously entered it all, it didn't show anything. Showed what I input last year but nothing this year. Spent bunch of time trying to confirm that it took on my state return but was complicated &time consuming there too. Been using Turbotax for many years. First time I've been really frustrated & angry.
