Downloading tax data

Need to have someway of preventing duplicate downloads of tax data from investment firms. I accidently downloaded my info twice and it set up each download as a separate taxable event. If I wouldn't have caught it, there would have been double the income and gains . Not a good thing !

my e File tax return was rejected. I found out it was missing my Personal id number . I suggest when the system does the self checking to show this as an error to be corrected
