It's worse than it was a few years ago

It does what it's supposed to, but wants to try and upsell you every step of the way and dictating what operating system you use and requiring you make an account with them.

Great for most tax situations. Easier this year

This year's tax return went easier than usual for me. The one thing I usually had an issue with seems to have been addressed in the guidance part of the software. It saved me a lot of time and worry finding the work around in the Community answer section. I had to double check I was actually done because it went so quickly.

TurboTax is easy and catches errors.

TurboTax is easy to use and the interview style is good. I especially like that the software checks for errors and helps me make corrections. Going forward I would like to see an AI tax specialist integrated into the software to answer questions that I come, as needed.

So easy to do. Just answer the questions!! I didn't need to use the assistant but it is nice to have that available. My taxes are simple so it is easy for me.

I had one problem with a 1099-R, but it was resolved quickly. I've been using this for probably 30 years and it just keeps improving.
