Overall good. Instructions sometimes ambiguous. Especially when signing up for annual program after filing. Follow directions leads to starting all over. Forced me to contact state government to obtain the tax rate interest penalty number. One of you, millions of me. This was ridiculous. This review forces nicknames and then multiple revisions. Dumb.

Funny you should ask -

Support was excellent; answered all my questions. Working the software as a user, not so much. Too many things readily available in the past now need to be searched for. (State refunds applied to next year; worksheets to generate an 8949.) Save your support staff some trouble and keep things front and center in user program instead of behind additional screens and clicks. You know; like before!

CD ROM DISK WANTED. I HAD TO LOG IN THREE (3) DIFFERENT TIMES WITH THREE (3) DIFFERENT PASSWORDS AND 3 DIFFERENT MFA NUMBERS: IT WAS A FUBAR & BOHICA DISATER ! i HAVE BEEN USING TURBOTAX CD ROM DISCS SINCE 1993 AND NEVER EVER HAD THIS MUCH TROUBLE!

My Turbo Tax

I am using TurboTax for last 29 years. I am really happy with the software. But this year I came across one road block. I had to file clean Vehicle Credit form of 8936 and 8936 Sch A. Which was not in turbo Tax. But I will manage.

2024 not the best

I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years and this year, 2024, was the hardest. Investment data was not transferred from previous year. Charitable institutions were not transferred. Data from form 8606 not transferred. Many error messages given over the word various on contributions forms - sometimes it had to be in single quotation marks and sometimes it did not- ridiculous.

My Go To for Tax SW

I have used TurboTax for both personal and business taxes for more than 20 years and it has always been easy to use and very helpful in finding everything hidden in the tax code to get the best result.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments
