Local Tax doesn't work right.

Federal and State worked fine - But Local did not import my W-2 properly. I had to go into the forms and fill out the w-2 portion for local taxes. Then another problem. I work in a Hybrid office where 2 days a week I work in Detroit (subject to Detroit city Taxes) and 3 days a week I work from home. It was very difficult to put that in. I kept redoing the Detroit section, and it would not give me any choice to get to edit the Detroit. I had to go into the forms and fill out the section about working 2/5 of the time in the office. It was a major pain, then it didn't reflect in my State refund section at the top. it was very confusing and I'm still not sure it went in correctly. had to review the forms after I saved everything and just before I e-Filed to make sure Detroit was all correct and I was getting the 3/5 refund from my taxes paid to Detroit. Major Pain

Turbo tax is good

during review of tax documents it does not appear that the fields that require fixing are correct. ie Foreign tax credit.

I have used Turbo Tax for years and no matter how simple or complicated the circumstances are, Turbo Tax has always been a great platform for taxes.

Divorce settlement and turbo tax

2024 was an impossible tax return to file. I am permanently disabled, finalized my LONG divorce December 2023, and have a daughter in medical school. My ex has refused to cooperate with filing of tax returns for the last 15 years. Each year, turbo tax has been a big help while I had incomplete information. Thank you.

efile failed and cost me extra money

product failed to file my e-payment on time. sent my e-file request on time to IRS and Turbo-Tax didn't process it on time which cost me IRS penalties
