I find entering information to be easy, however I would like there to be a way to document filing federal & state

I just went in to see why my check I owed for Fed taxes hadn't been cashed and Turbo Tx said my returns were not filed?! I entered all Direct Debit info and completed the returns 4/14. I had no idea all this time they were not submitted. There could have been an email from you to notice that this wasn't finalized?! I have no idea how this wasn't completed.
