Like the product; have used it for years and find it quite straight forward to use.
It is difficult each year to figure out how to purchase it associated with my account and download it, since I like to work offline on my desktop. This part is not straight forward and is quite frustrating. Would like this to be easier.

Turbo Tax is Still Awesome

Hi, been using Turbo Tax for 12-13 years Only way to go. Having said that 2024 has been a little different. After finishing my return and filing and getting an "acceptance" notice, I received an IRS Notce CP 5071 requesting that I provide identification of my identification. Using the IRS website has been a disaster even though the website confirms that my tax return was processed and the refund is correct. There must be a disconnect between Turbo Tax authentication (DL and PIN) and IRS requirements.

What do I do??

I forgot to transmit my return on 2/25 and was never notified that I had failed to transmit. I did transmit today and do not know what to do if it is rejected. Do I just mail a copy to IRS. I did transmit the return today and I only found out today as I checked where is my refund ($1182), and they had no record of the filing.

Very expensive for the minimal service provided. IRS rejected electronic return as originally filed.

not easy to navigate

I like to mail in my state tax return and not e-file because of the fee charged to e-file state tax return and it is not easy to navigate. It seems like Turbo tax does not want it to be simple it keeps populating the e-file box. This has always upset me
