Very overpriced for a simple 1040-SR I could do by myself or with free tax.com. Ain't gonna use Turbotax ever again

E-filing rejected yet all the correct info

Everything was great until we'd paid for the electronic filing, transmitted it, and both the federal and state returns were rejected. We double-checked all the identifying information and it's correct, we even checked last year's AGI as stored on the IRS site, which matches what we have. We re-tried three times, and each time it was still rejected.

Virginia tax program needs work

All good except the Virginia state tax filing. I print and file. When I took the package to my local commissioner of revenue, they tossed all the federal forms that Turbo Tax said needed to be included. The written state tax instructions do not require the filing of any federal forms. TT needs to update the Virginia state program.

Turbo Tax is sneaky with charges.

I hate it. I will change my software next year. You are sneaky in your charges. I have used your software for 20 years and in the last 4 years I have continued to hate it more and more each year. No longer ease of use. Providing an easy to use, low cost product, and all needed tax filing services is no longer the priority.
