TurboTax is awesome. State modules need work.

Experts helped us as much as their database of support documents could be of help. But the State of Montana return module needs work to make it as easy to use as the much more complex (and related) Federal module. Thanks in advance for working on it this year for the 2025 Tax Filing season.

Looking at this 2022 submittal as part of effort trying to resolve an issue with rejection of our 2024 submittal for an AGI issue. We have mailed in a request for extension for 2024 and will continue to work on resolution. My copies of the 2023 and 2024 submittals look clean with their AGI numbers. The rejection info says that the AGI does not match the IRS number. We will ask for a TT person for help.

Disappointed with TurboTax!

I've used TurboTax for many years and was generally pleased. However, on my recent use, I erroneously entered the same number for 2 1099-INT documents (institution names were similar). I believe TurboTax should have flagged this, as I'm sure the chances of getting the exact same numbers on 2 different 1099-INT documents is quite low. Had TurboTax flagged this, it would have avoided my needing to submit an amended return.

If I could leave zero starts, I would. Not only does TurboTax lobby to make filing taxes more difficult for the average citizen, but they also falsely advertise.

FRUSTRATED AND DISAPPOINTED!

I've used Turbo-Tax for several years now and this is the FIRST time ever after purchasing the program download that I have had to pay to file the state return, when I was promised 5 free federal filings and 1 free state file. To make matters worse, they then charged an additional $40 as a "refund processing fee" in order to pay form your refund, therefore a total of $65!!
Now working on a second return, and I opted to pay with a card for the state filing (still haven't received my FREE state filing yet but need to get it done) and the program appears to have frozen and won't go past letting me enter the billing address. The process is already tedious enough but to get this far along and can't finish is utterly insane, I am so frustrated!!!
