Turbo Tax 1099 Processing is the Worst

I'm a 35+ year long time user. 2024 Turbo tax had a new UI for the 1099 section of the software. It's worst than awful. It is unwieldy and not for anyone who has more than a couple of 1099 Div, 1099 Int or 1099B statements. Many long time users are unhappy. Myself included. Turbo Tax should revert back to it's former interface for this section of the application. The person responsible for releasing this UI should be fired. If this is not fixed for 2025 tax year, I will be using another software. I spent 3x more time this year on the 1099 section than in previous years. Even now, after I've competed and filed, I'm still not 100% sure that I got it right.

TurboTax desktop is accurate, and the interview format makes it easy to use. I've been using TurboTax for many years and have rarely had a problem. Cost of the desktop version is a bargain.

Easiest way to do your taxes, pls stop the add-ons

I've been using TurboTax for 27 years now. It's easy to use, guides you nicely through situations, is smart enough to ask questions and react accordingly and makes it relatively simple to file your taxes. Even with investments and stocks and retirement plans, it makes it fairly simple to properly file taxes and get the best possible refund.
My main issue with the software for the last few years is with the in-program add-ons and what I consider spam sales tactics. I pay for the software, so it's annoying to be asked so many times if I want to purchase this or that, additionally, while doing my taxes. Ask me once, there's no need to insist and pressure me. Also, I live in a state that does not require a State Tax Return, so why do I get asked repeatedly if I want to buy the state program and file my state return? TurboTax is so smart, but apparently not enough to realize I do not need to file one, so it's pointless and annoying. Finally: Intuit offers me the option to renew every year at a "great price", but it's not really a great price at all, I buy it on Amazon for about 30-50% less. Doesn't feel like they're valuing my loyalty when they do that.
Other than that, it's a great program and I will continue to use and recommend it.
