I really am not a computer person , but it did take me a little time to understand this years turbo tax with
out having the disk, but finely understood it.

ISSUES

Bought my turbo tax on Amason was a bit of a issue to get to the site to put in by license numbers. that seem to take quite a while. but had a heap of trouble of trouble on state tax it asked it i had paid land taxes or rent so i thought that was my land tax. it went on a top something form first problem before i could get that form deleted. Now my issue is when e filing Federal is free but when i was sending state tax with is it wanted $44so toke off state and sent federal it went right through. the $25 state payment screen just came up big wihite screen to put name address phone no enter button showing so trying again today NEVER had this trouble before

IRS letter received after filing

Although our tax return was e-filed and confirmed "accepted" by IRS on March 19, 2025, we received a letter from IRS stating that they "show credits or payments totaling,,,$$" (which represented estimated tax payments made during the tax year), they "have no record of receiving your tax return." The letter requests "If you have filed, send us a NEWLY SIGNED return copy". The letter supposes we were due a refund and needed to do this to get a refund. We actually had a small amount due and have confirmed the check has cleared. To complicate matters, my spouse passed away a few weeks prior to filing our return.
