The program asks too any questions. Add too many extra fees to prepare and e-file state taxes.

Military personnel - don't use this product!

Your product is not very helpful for military families. Your section on moving reimbursements was awful! Not very helpful at all! I had to seek advice from a CPA to explain further.
The state products were even worse, especially when both tax payers are in the military and have different permanent residences. It was a waste of $45! I would not recommend this product for military personnel!

AWESOME ~ IT WAS SUPER SIMPLE TO USE ~ GUIDED ME EFFORTLESSLY THROUGH THE ENTIRE RETURN. IT'S 9 PM ON 4/15/25 AND MY RETURN IS COMPLETED AND FILED. THANK GOODNESS THERE WERE NO GLITCHES!!!

TurboTax CAN attach PDFs to Georgia State E-File

Generally, TurboTax works well and is clear how to use. However, for something unusual like needing to attach a PDF to an E-File, it is not clear and even the forum answers to such a question do not always lead to a correct understanding. Calling the support number resulted in a long wait and then an answered phone with no one on the other end. It turned out that my daughter found that it was possible to add an attachment to the GA E-File by investigating Other Situations during the review of the Georgia taxes.

I did engage with one of your exports after trying the short cut method that I previously explained. She was very nice and called at the exact time promised (which was only 35 minutes from the time of my request).
Meanwhile, I was so stressed trying to deal the short cut method, I had decided to start over and go through every page as I had in past years and everything fell into place. By the time I spoke with the expert, I had figured out the problem and was almost finished so we just had a short chat and she confirmed that going through each page and providing information where applicable was best. I will continue to do that in the future. I don't know why anyone would opt for the short cut method based on my experience. It was very chaotic.
