Sometimes "Improvements" Aren't

Would have been a five star rating, as it always has been in the past, if it weren't for the fact that TurboTax changed a perfectly good system, that had been standard for years - probably decades - of entering investment income data, where the user has to now pre-select the bucket they are going to enter data into. The prior system walked one through all of the buckets, and kept track of where you were, so if you had completed a sections (say interest or dividends), it showed you had completed it. This new and unimproved system doesn't track whether or not you've already visited or completed a section, so creates a sense of uncertainty if you've really gone through all of the steps. Please return to the old system, which worked just fine, and was consistent from year to year.

I had to communicate with TurboTax as my import from Morgan Stanley did not succeed without problems. The individual who supported me in fixing did it with persistence, patience and professionalism. It took some time but was completely satisfied with TurboTax technician. I have used TurboTax for many years without issue, nice to know support is there when needed!!
