Fee to File State Tax Return is a Deal Breaker

A small thing that matters a lot to me. I did not know you would charge extra to e-file my state return. Here we are on tax day finding out. I feel like a car buyer getting add-on fees at the last minute. I should have read every little detail in advance. But I don't do business with people I have to work that hard to avoid extra costs.

this tax system needs elimination and simplified

I have gotten used to struggling through all the pages to get to where you need to get to, and the fast if you click on a form view and select a form, it will not take to to that step in the step by step. I came across the form 4562 line 12 error which I had not solution available. Help did not send me help but to a forum which had no solution except read the indecipherable IRS legalspeak. after 4 hours of studying and searching, I ended up removing the deduction for my home office to avoid this issue.

TurboTax has NEVER let me down!

A great and dependable, easy to use product that I have utilized for many years. My ONLY comment would be - there are hundreds of thousands of Rideshare drivers. Make a RIDESHARE addition, or make the business portion easier to enter and understand.

I had to pay for state return, initally said FREE.

When I bought Turbo Tax, it stated ONE FREE state return. They charged me 27$ to file it. What a scam.
