TurboTax is not good

I've used TurboTax for years. It has always been difficult to understand and correctly input HSA info. I got a letter that I may have contributed excess to my HSA (I did not). On this years tax it reported the excess. I was informed that there would be a 6% tax unless I withdrew the HSA money (which I did and reported in TurboTax). I was still taxed the 6% and now I bet I get taxed on the withdrawal next year. I'm ready to file directly to the IRS through the IRS and stop paying for this junk software!
