Cost is getting out of hand

Always using TurboTax was our tax filing method but software cost and filing fees does not seem cost effective for us as there appears to be many other cheaper options.

Overall good. Had issue with Married filing Separately. Instructions could be better. Why are the carry over values not brought over as they were 20 years ago. Does not make sense why program does not automatically bring them over.

Federal good! Used TT since 1998, State not good!

trying to e file and pay is apparently not possible! Every time I fill out the form to pay, I cannot get back to the main TT form. It repeatedly asks for the payment AGAIN. I have tried cancelling and redoing the direct debit several times. I finally tried to do it via credit card. That worked beautifully - my taxes are paid and the bank shows it! HOWEVER, I can't file without doing direct debit. DOR of Arizona doesn't allow the confirmation to be included for CC payments.... so...I either pay twice and then struggle to be reimbursed AND I cannot e-file. I'll have to mail it today. Very disappointed.

Easy to follow instructions and it's evident that significant testing was undertaken to ensure simplicity in UX and almost human-like guidance along the way. I felt like an Intuit Expert was in the room with me.
