Lousy rejection help for missing Ip Pin

My federal return was rejected because of the ip pin number. It was extremely difficult to find the section on the desktop version to enter the Ip pin. When I went to turbo tax to correct the error, the desktop version didn't show anything, much less how and where to fix it.

good but be ready to go into the tax forms

tried and true program, however it does not do EVERYTHING. You would be smart to do some of your own research on IRS.gov and don't be shy about opening the forms instead of the interactive. the interactive is NOT perfect. Entering an identity theft PIN is not explained well. I got rejected for not entering it properly, and the instructions in the rejection and fix interactive and email were incomplete. I had to located the section to enter it by manually looking for it and found it in a nonintuitive location in the menu.

Known issue for 60+ days with no fix

There is a known issue with the software concerning K-1 carryover losses. The worksheet does properly categorize previous years losses causing an error message when entering this years data. It should not take a tax software company this long (60+ days) to provide an update/fix. It is worse that the update has not been provided by the April 15th tax deadline.
