Turbo Tax problems

I could not e-file my return with my credit card. Every time I tried it said there was a problem and try again soon. I removed and reloaded the software on my computer, same results, so I ended up using the $40 option withdrawn from my federal return. 😒

Easy For Us

We have very simple taxes and Turbo Tax is very easy to use. We typically take standard deduction so just a matter of answering a few questions. Could do it on paper but taxes are nerve wracking to me so want to make sure I cover everything since laws change every year. Work the $60 I spend.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

TurboTax is the BEST!

The best. thouough. Logicallly progresses. Have used for 8 years . I helped my son who used another product, it was not smooth. Same with daughter. Both file for free and picked alternatives, from IRS website. It gave me verfication of why I use Turbo Tax. Both simple returns but process and flow nowhere near as smooth as TurboTax. Not Even close. I'll never change, TurboTax is the BEST!

UI experience poor for MAC OS.

User interface experience is poor for MAC OS. Things are difficult to find. Some screens have modal confirmation screens that are off the screen and you have to go search for them in a scroll window. (Ex. to delete a financial institution, it hangs, waiting for you to answer Yes/No on a modal screen that is not visible, you have to scroll up to see it, leading the user to believe that the software has hung.
