Painful to file an extension.

tried to figure out how to file an extension. I have the desktop version. It shouldn't be that hard. if you look up how to do it it only talks about online version. cant get access to forms filled out. tried to preview and it wouldn't work. State extension was a simple question that was answered to complete. Federal is a whole production.

Turbo Tax is top of the heap!

Have used TT for 20 years or so. One suggestion is regarding the medical entries section. It typically requires that you enter something in the first screen without knowing the future entry screens. It would be helpful to have a setup like the other income or deduction screen where you show all the medical categories, showing both last year's entry and the current tax year, with the option to update or edit the current year.
Pros: My employment status changed this year

Overall good experience. With the cost to file state taxes, it would be helpful to have a step in the process to file by paper.
