Turbo Tax is Easy

I've used Turbo Tax for a number of years now. Never had any issues. It is easy to use and walks you thru the process without any issues.

Turbo Tax Deluxe does everything I need it to do

I really like Turbo Tax but just like everything, it goes up in price. I know friends that use free software and I did try one of them this year. The Federal came out exactly between the two, but the state was $1 less of a refund with Turbo Tax. I still used it because I'm sure it was a rounding difference and I'm not sure if the IRS would be slower if I used a different software to submit it. I've used it many years ago for when my wife did at home childcare. I had the accountant's prior tax work for us, so I used that as a guide. I like the feature where it can pull in your investments so you don't mess it up. The free software I had to enter it manually.

Filing my taxes is never fun. TurboTax Makes it easy. I have a confused situation this year but Turbo Tax helped me understand it.

A little problem this year

Have used Turbo Tax for years with no problems. This year I completed a return for my Grandson and E-Filed the federal portion. Then I lost the file due to a computer glitch, so I redid the return and tried to E-File the state portion and the system wouldn't let me do it. It said I had to E-file the federal portion first, which was already done. The status check recognized that Federal was already E-filed, but it would not let me E-File the state. This part of the system needs some work!

Turbo Tax is great!

I love Turbo Tax. It is so user friendly and gives me a lot of stress free moments! However, one problem I did have. I've used Turbo Tax for years. Purchasing a CD. This year, no CD and the directions were great, but for a fairly computer dummy, when turbo tax appeared on my screen, I forgot the part about downloading, and got into a problem with the on-line version charging me again. You need to emphasize to "dummies" that you need to down load!!!
