Generally good but be patient if it locks up!

Generally good this year...I have had problems with this in the past. This year as I was preparing to file electronically the software would lock up during the section where I had to enter our drivers license numbers.
When we entered and pushed continue a sign came up saying "Calculating". it stayed on for probably 2 minutes and never went off..To reset it I had to back out of that page and reenter everything again. This happened three times on different pages and I was worried I never would get to file. It finally worked correctly but it was annoying for sure.

TurboTax is disappointing.

E-file rejected because TurboTax would not let me input my IP PIN. The only reason I purchased was to allow me to e-file, but it would not allow me to even that. I can fill out pdfs just as easily as this program.

Great product with details needing to be reviewed.

Product is, in fact, excellent. A couple of glitches, though. Charitable donations page after completing the input, it returned to the same screen asking for the same input. I input it 3 or 4 times until I decided to just skip it. The charitable donations page still showed $0 for each of them. When I restarted TT, it then shows 3 or 4 times the dollar amount. Then, I deleted the extra entries for each one and had to manually keep track of how many I deleted to ensure there was one left when I restarted TT again.
There were a few instances of incomplete sentences or blanks at the end of instructions. For example, after a correction, the instructions showed something like "if you made a correction, we recommend selecting " That's all it showed.
The last glitch showed that I had an error in the name field of a payer for my PA return (it had too many characters); but didn't allow me to change it.
Overall, still a great product.

Do Not Like The Digital Version 2024

Do not like the 2024 version of TurboTax. It is not as intuitive as previous versions. I was trying to show my wife how easy it was to use and that was a dramatic failure. I will pull the 2022 version and try to explain that to her.

TRIED SINCE 7PM EASTERN STANDARD TIME TO FILE AN EXTENSION AND WAS UNABLE TO SO, WHEN I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO LOCATE WHERE TO FILE EXTENSION. i RECEIVED A MESSAGE THAT IS WAS TO LATE TO E-FILE EXTENSION. I WAS ABLE TO DO DAUGHTERS TAXES AND YOU ARE CHARGING 85.00 TO EMAIL AFTER i PAID OVER 60.00. THIS IS TOO EXPENSIVE. WILL NOT USE TURBO TAX IN 2027
