Using turbo tax makes it easy and simple to file your own taxes. The step by step guides help you find the most deductions and returns that are available for what ever your situation is. I have been using Turbo Tax for years and very satisfied with it!

Dependent Child not being claimed issues.

Issues as usual. Had my returns rejected by the IRS twice, selected "no" to claiming both of my children on my return to, "waive my right to claim to allow my child's other parent to claim them as dependents". Then I have the returns rejected, saying someone else has already claimed them as a dependent on their return.

It frustrates me that Turbo Tax encourages one to upgrade to file a schedule C
It's not rocket science.
Go into "forms" find schedule C and fill it out.
The info transfers in to your 1040.
