Just a constant money grab and other company's are doing a better job at helping with questions along the way. Turbotax barely makes updates to pertinent information, let alone the 90's user interface. They were king, but need to quit resting on success of the past.

I love TurboTax!

We've been using TurboTax for years and years now. This program is always user friendly and has answers to all our questions! Plus, they offer Tax Assistance IF you feel you need it. We tried another program once, and it was a very BAD mistake! We're sticking with TurboTax going forward.

Do NOT USE if you are a PA Res. with NYS Income

Product overall makes for easy identification of tax credits and deductions. However, if you are a PA Resident with non-reciprocal out-of-state income (e.g., NYS), then the final instructions DO NOT convey that PA requires you to mail in the schedule and other documents. This has delayed my PA 2023 refund of $6k into the next tax year and I am now required to hire a CPA to get it all taken care of. I am still waiting for my 2023 refund because of this and noted again this year (2024 return) that Intuit has not fixed these instructions.
