Best way to do your taxes!

Prior year import is great, walking though each step for current year data is easy and efficient. Used for my mom for the first time and saved her money with health cost questions. Great program.

Good but there are glitches

For the second year in a row I could not find the way to have my federal refund credited to my next year's taxes. Having failed to find the "regular" way, I tried to manually do it by going to forms. That blew up the state return. Also for the second year in a row, the Kentucky estimated tax forms show on the screen but will not print. So I have to download the forms, and manually fill them in. That eats a lot of time . . . I've never seen a page that shows in a document or tax return but won't print. It's almost like you had to program that malfunction.

18 Year Turbo Tax User is Disappointed

Very disappointing. The software was designed to create opportunities for additional services for additional charges and profit. The software did create confusion and was not straightforward. I was often stuck on screens where I was confused and the software did not understand a typical tax situation. Very very disappointed.

Major Printing Issue

First of all I did not like the new Turbo Tax format. Mostly, I initially could not printout the NJ State Return. I had filed the Federal Return Electronically and could not printout the NJ State Return that I wanted to file by mail. I spent at least 90 minutes with a Turbotax Customer Service Representative who did her best efforts to remediate the issue to no success. While on the phone with her I changed the Federal from Electronic to by Mail that allowed me to printout the Mail version of the NJ State Return. It looks like Turbotax is trying to prohibit the filing of the mail version of the NJ State Return (that's an extra cost) when the Federal Return is a Electronic Filing.
