Best for Tax Prep

The software was very easy to use and provided guidance through the entire process. My complaint about TurboTax 2024 is in the activation process. The Captcha to prove I was a human was absolutely maddening. I had to call support to get through the thing. The support tech was very helpful, but he did say that a lot of people had the same issue. Hope they get this fixed before next year!

I'VE BEEN USING TURBO TAX FOR DECADES, AND IT NEVER DISAPPOINTS, IT'S EASY TO NAVIGATE AND TAKES YOU THROUGH EVERYTHING YOU MIGHT WANT/ NEED TO KNOW. THIS IS THE FIRST YEAR THAT I USED AN EXPERT, JUST COULDN'T FIGURE OUT WHY THE BIG DIFFERNCE FROM LAST YEAR, SHE TOOK HER TIME, ASKED QUESTIONS, THEN BOOM. THE REASONING WAS FOUND, BIG HELP INDEED!!

Make it easier to file STATE RETURN by mail!!

Overall product was good. I did not like that this year there seemed to be no option to just print my state return. Kept acting like I was filing it electronically, but I had no plans to do so as I didn't want to pay the fee to do that. I finally just selected print, and printed what I thought I needed to file my state return. Felt like there was manipulation going on to make it hard to file my state return without e-filing.

TurboTax is very good.

Product is good. Only problem I had was: I could not print a problem for someone to help me with. Only gave me selections to pick, which didn't help at all. Other than that, I enjoyed the product. I have used it for the past six years.
Pros: My employment status changed this year
