TurboTax feels like a Dated Software

In the desktop version sometimes if we press "back", it does not go back to the same page as before. Very annoying especially when we made a mistake and want to fix it.
Also, the constant "Updates" to software is just stupid.
State return did not start and I had a download a tool to clear the cache - we are in 2025 with AI and this software is like Windows 96 :(

Not user friendly

It's not very user friendly this year. Some parts were a bit confusing, but I figured it out. It took a very long time for a simple, basic tax return.

Loosing confidence in TT after using for many yrs.

I don't like that they try to up sell state e-filing and make it harder to file manually. Also noticed an issue on a form that was not correct, but could find an easy way to just correct the form. May look else where for filing next year.

Turbo Tax Not What It Used To Be

I have used your product for many years and this year was the worst experience. You made it a lot harder to download the product. Family members used to be able to use the product on more than one device but that is not allowed anymore. Now I'm stuck doing other family members returns on my machine. Also, it used to be so much easier to get the info from my W-2 to populate. This year I had to enter everything manually. Terrible. Probably will find another option for next year.

Product sucks and constantly tries upsell

Doesn't work. The last several years pay for e-file and then it always times out or something doesn't work. 100% moving to a different product next year. Goodbye forever!

Blank pages on more than one section in steps

For 2024, 2023 and 2022 tax preparation, I have issues with the step-by-step forms coming up blank/write page. Then, I have to go to the forms and fill in the information directly. This has caused me extra time and frustration. I am paying for a software program each year that has not be working properly. I may be looking for a new software to process my tax returns for 2025.
