I love Turbo Tax, I have been using it for years. It is simple and easy to use and the learn more sections in each area help to make sure I don't miss anything.

2024 version was unusually problematic

2024 version was unusually problematic, data transferred from our financial institution was assigned to the wrong person (not easy to fix) and the app hung multiple times. I hope this is an off year, I'd hate to have to start over with a new company.

Trouble this year.

Well it was very difficult submitting our taxes. It wanted an update which I could not find anywhere until I went back in to my saved 2023 version and found an update there to do after many hours searching. Also I purchased the turbo advantage with audit protection but at the end it wanted me to buy it again.

I'm old. I'm one of 77 million Baby Boomers (1/5 the US Population) who are having vision opportunities as we age. It is tiring to keep hitting ZOOM again-and-again. Plus it is STILL TO SMALL PRINT FOR MY TIRED OLD EYES. I am a computer literate retired computer systems analyst and accounting systems designer. So I can use a computer. I JUST CAN'T SEE THE SCREEN...This may be my last year doing Turbotax for that reason. Will have to go to a pro.....thanx

TurboTax for Seniors

TurboTax is a great product. I've used it for years. But, now that our filing requires just the standard deductions, it would be wise to have a product that let Seniors e-file both Federal and State Returns at a much lower price. It would seem prudent to attract a wider audience. I would guess there's a large market of Seniors who would like the ease of TurboTax and the capability to e-file forth returns at the same time. $62 plus the fee to efile the State is hard on our budgets.
