Schedule C and Medical Insurance questions

Sometimes explanations of categories arent clear, so it was difficult for me to figure out if information needed to be entered and where.
My husband is retired, so he has insurance through CalPers. My son and I were covered under covered CA. I only entered the Covered CA $'s and i couldnt figure out where to enter my husbands CalPers Ins or the reimbursement he gets.
I have used your product for over 10 years and I am finding less and less explanations for various issues. This is the first time I used the Schedule C and I felt it was lacking in the line items I needed. Example I expensed his drum equipment, since it was under $2,500, yet there wasnt an equipment category for items less than $2,500. Also no category for Magazines and Subscriptions. No separate category for meals while taking a class and workshop, which was !00% deductible. No explanations for daily food deductions limits with no receipt.

I wish printing my returns came up before the Do you want to efile statement?
You dont make it easy to just print state return if i dont want to efile and I want to review it before I mail it in. I would like an option to print documents for when I am mailing my state return in.

A couple problems but my fault.

The question service was great. The AI did nit help too much as it seemed to only give canned answers to key words. It did not seem to learn to go deeper in the question. I had to errors, but AI help did not give me any good info. Again very easy to use. I had multiple accounts so I have found the right one this year.

Did not clearling provide user directions to enter, or that there was a need to enter a personal ID PIN from the IRS

Not as Easy

I have been filing my taxes for years with Turbo-Tax. This year is not pleasant. I'm older now and the process is almost beyond my ability to do. Still a good product but not as easy as it used to be.

Having items by items and a good walk through step by step and more importantly the final review are great features from Turbo Tax.... I have used Turbo Tax since 1995 and am always happy with the quality and ease of use

The "getting in" part is ridiculous and not at all intuitive. Once in the product it was ok.
