Hate the up-sale

Didn't like paying for the state, I thought once you pay once you should be able to e-file multiple times in same household.

Comfusing and inaccurate

This was more confusing than last year. We attempted to use the Quicken download and it registered 1099-MISC we didn't even have with IRA stock gains that were not taxable. Fortunately, we eventually figured out how to delete it before continuing.

So much frustration

I was so frustrated with several things.
- In the summaries, there was no way to find out how TT arrived at the totals. For example, nowhere in the amount for the total standard deduction did it tell me that this included the standard amount plus the amounts for being over 65. In the itemized deductions I still do not understand how TT derived the figure of my "other income taxes". In the W2 or 1099 section, I accidentally hit the button not to upload and then I could not go back at select it afterwards.

Turbotax is okay

Software is not always intuitive and difficult to navigate between options and tax advice provided from the help isn't as simple to help customer understand and to determine what to select or how to respond in order to proceed with entering information.
