very poor explanations and not user friendly

This is no longer a user friendly program.
My return was rejected but never explained why and I could not trouble shoot it.
The headings you recommended I find were not there. I have gone through my whole return and checked every number to look for mistakes. I made a correction to the only mistake I found and if it is still rejected I will never use your product again.

Bypass Itemized Ded. + Improve Charitable Don.

In the past, when you were using what was then called "EasyStep", Turbotax would ask you if you wanted to skip figuring itemized deductions and assume that the standard deduction was larger. I no longer get that choice if I want Turbo tax to "guide me", EasyStep style. I miss that. When I get to the deductions portion of Turbotax and I don't want Turbo Tax to "guide me", will I be on my own as to what part of the tax form to work on next?
Also, if you ARE itemizing charitable donations, I think it would be better if you had the response fields for all donation modes (money, goods, etc.) on one screen. This would be better both for people like me who have only money donations and people who have multiple modes of donations.

No Linux Version

Improve ease of 1099-DIV information

Too difficult to enter 1099-DIV when the companies are same as last year. Need to have a table with companies listed and entry boxes for lines 1a and 1b for each company instead of having to go back to the 1099-DIV homepage after each entry. Should rather be a listing by company and entry and skip if no longer own that stock, etc.
