Standard Deduction vs Deductions Entered

When TurboTax chooses standard deduction even though your deductions are more than the standard deduction, you should enable the user to see what portion or percentage of their entered deductions caused the standard deduction to be more.

Previous Years Better

Turbo Tax Deluxe was not nearly as user friendly as previous years. This will be the 10th consecutive year that we have used Turbo Tax and found this year to be the least easy to follow. I would hope that you make some changes prior to next year, otherwise we will look for a new tax filing program.

turbo 2024 could be improved

I have used turbo tax for many years with excellent results. THIS YEAR (2024) I found the data ask for and where it should be entered was very confusing. Also, when the Federal Return was rejected i received very little help from turbo tax identifying why it was rejected and fixing the problem. I hope it will be improved next year.
