Easy to use, but has annoying issue with IRS PIN

Been using TT for decades. It makes filing taxes relatively easy, keeps track of the latest tax laws, etc. Good user interface with good granularity. Watch out for the IRS PIN feature. My taxes were rejected four times as I attempted to fix the PIN issues. Turns out that you need to set the IRS 6-digit PIN on the Federal "Other tax situations" screen, then click on Start next to "Idenitity Protection PIN". No idea why they couldn't just have the PIN boxes on the filing section, which only accepts 5 digits, work correctly. Seems like a small thing, but it took me a day to figure it out via web search.

Lot of problems this year.

Experienced problems w/ locking up on several occasions. Leaving the computer overnight seemed to fix it. ?? Can't print return. Needed keychain password to download state.

I get TurboTax every single year. You could at least send me e-mails to remind me about filing deadlines and what my advantage member details are. I would have given a rating of 5 but I think you could do better by giving the option up front if all Income, deductions, credits, interest and dividend information is the same as last year, I could literally do my taxes in just 10-15 minutes because you could ask me only about those things.

Frustrating.

I completed entering my data, now I'm in a loop with app software continuously asking if I allow the app to make changes. Even if I check yes, the program continues to revert to same question. Then there is a continuous question about upgrading to talk to an expert. About what, how get come out of this perpetual loop? This is frustrating. No, I am not using TurboTax next year.

Easy step by step instructions lead you along which promotes great confidence in correct filing. I especially like the Red & Green updates as to Taxes Owed or Refund Status.
