Utter lack of transparency....for a reason. They know darn well if you knew up front what you were being charged you'd never buy it.

Turbotax was confusing regarding the taxes I owed as it told me owed $3K due to capital gains income I earned but when I reviewed the impact of mu capital gains during the income process it told me I owed no taxes on the long-term capital gains and the short-term gains were only ~$600.
