Turbo Tax is a great product

The software is very easy to use and explains everything quite well as you progress thru the steps of entering data for the returns. I appreciate that it also does the City Tax return. which simplifies filing.

Improvement Needed

Difficulty downloading, should specify MAC OS requirements when stating compatibility vs user discovering during download and needing to purchase new MAC to meet OS requirement. Used TurboTax for years with no issues until now.

How did you ruin a great product?

I've been using Turbo tax for Mac for over a decade. But this year using your product was a terrible experience. You should have left it as is. Your new product enhancements actually resulted in a worse, less intuitive and more frustrating user experience. I especially found the user flow of entering INT & DIV income confusing. Previously this was so much easier. Now you mixed it all up in one long tile format, which made it inconsistent in design and experience than everything else. Plus when I had to review the imported data or stuff brought in from the prior year, the delete design icon wouldn't work most of the time. The whole vertical tile would just grey and there would be no action from clicking the button. It would only work sometimes. Taxes are frustrating enough. Using frustrating tax software makes it worse. You used to make it easier, and now you've gone backwards.
I'll be looking for another tax software to use next year based on my experience this year. I lost trust in the credibility of your software because of some of the errors experienced. Sometimes the data wouldn't even show up in the list that I'd just entered, causing me for the first time to do a thorough review of all the forms submitted as I lost trust in your software this year.

Uneven Earnings Not Handled Easily

Most everything works well. Was a little frustrating accessing Interest and Dividend info for checking over and editing. Preferred earlier design. Difficult to deal with uneven earnings through the year. I had a Roth rollover late in the year which might have made me susceptible to penalties as my estimated tax was paid late in the year (was penalized for this last year as it didn't occur to me when entering my info). Not at all clear how I should handle Colorado filing in this situation.

Buggy in Form 2441 Care Provider Field and Final Review. Doesn't like manual Entery. Need to use Easy Step for the field or Estimated Field occurs in Final Review.
