Turbo Tax is a good software

would have been handy to know that I could not use my Mac, you need to realize that not everyone has a new Mac as they last a long time, and not being able to use it was upsetting. luckily i have a PC too. Make it more available to other Mac operating systems

Tax Experts are not Experts don't pay extra

The tax experts were not worth the extra money, They were not helpful at all and some were very rude. Some of the questions or information intended to make TurboTax easy to use were not written well and difficult to understand.

Easy way to file taxes -- not as helpful this year

We have used Turbo Tax for years. This year it seems the help was not as thorough nor could I ever get connected to the community to get answers. Not as stellar as in the past.

TurboTax Maybe Not Better than H&R Block

I switched from H&R Block to TurboTax this year (2024 taxes) because H&R Block's site crashed when I was trying to file last year, so I decided to check out TurboTax. I had high expectations because TurboTax is more expensive and appears to have more of market share. However, my experience fell far short of my expectations. Some of the things I disliked were: several values from my 2023 H&R Block return were not correctly transferred (or transferred at all) into TurboTax; poor explanations of what was wanted (what a question was asking for); harder to find direct help for the point I was at in the input process; cases where I answered a question in such a way that I shouldn't have had to enter additional data, but was then prompted to enter the additional data (that wouldn't be needed on any Federal or State form); and the he worst - at the end when it asked if my wife and I had filed together in 2023 - to which I answered that we had - and then it asked me to enter my AGI _AND_ my wife's AGI. How does it make sense for each of us to have an AGI when we filed together?
