Typically, works well but your IP PIN section is a joke. A pain to find and question is never asked if needed. Been like that for several years now about time you fix it.

Still hiccups

TurboTax has become less user friendly. Where before there might be 1-2 questions on a subject there are now 4-5. Example: Charitable contributions. In HR Blocks program I had several options in re printing returns. For example, all forms sent to IRS, selected forms, forms with worksheets etc. Your program doesn’t offer those options. lso, in the final stages of filing the state return I was asked to correct some entries. The correcting was easy but in order to get back to the filing page I had been on I had to go through the whole filing section (Federal nd Sate) from the beginning.

Turbo Tax is a great product and easy to use.

I really prefer to do my federal and state tax returns with Turbo Tax. I have been using it for years. With the questions asked it helps me to make sure I have collected all the correct information for the files.

Overall TT provides good value and is remarkably easy especially considering the complexity of our tax laws.
I'll offer some feedback here that I should have offered when asked in the application. I'm using TT Delux. For some reason the State information is not included for OIDs when importing from Stifel. The States are listed on the form PDF version. I've given the same feedback to Stifel as I don't know where the fault lies. This has been happening for years.

Confusing health care payments

Mixed results for TT this year.

The actual product was easy to use and worked fine, as usual. I'm not at all happy about the software download. There were plenty of error messages along the way - the first download actually failed. Different components were not found. When I signed on to the intuit site for help, I went down this rabbit hole of different products you were trying to pitch me. No phone number for assist provided. And the 'choose which box' verification was awful. Pictures too small or blurry to identify correctly. It took me much longer to finally get the software downloaded and running then it did to actually do my taxes. I used to be a programmer, I know buggy software when I see it. Bring back the CD, or fix the download process - else I'll be looking at other options next year.
