Confidence and convenience across the years

I've been using TurboTax for years and appreciate its ability to import last year's data and compare entries across years. I continue to use the step-by-step approach, so it maybe takes longer, but feel I'm more likely to get all my deductions. I also really appreciate TurboTax's ability to import my retirement data. I feel confident my taxes are done correctly.

Not as good as it once was

The software is becoming more and more expensive and less user friendly. It now takes far too long to efile and it should not cost anything for state return given the cost of the program. My W-2, auto populated from download, has 2 different amounts for same locality but the software refused to accept it and flagged it as a duplicate. I needed to combine the amounts and delete one of them. Then it tells me to make sure the entries match my W-2! It did but the program refused it!
