Used TurboTax for many years. It doesn't replace personal responsibility for having the right numbers but handles all the technical tax stuff correctly and does all the math.

All throughout the program, they tried to sell another product. Each year you make the programs more confusing instead of making it easier to use.

Had trouble getting the product to recognize education credits. There is a known bug here people talk about online.
They should break out deductions and credits that someone taking the standard deduction can take advantage of. No sense putting in all kinds of data if you know you are NOT itemizing.

It was not as easy to find items such as Estimated State Tax entries. I also didn't like the 1099 DIV and 1099 INT.

I made the dumb mistake of using someone else other than turbotax, 45$ mistake. Their competitor freaking sucks, the system is junk and their assistance are horrible. Turbotax's interface is just so easy to use and they make everything understandable.
