Software is not as easy to use now. Some of the pleasant and easy to use short cuts are missed. Not sure if I will be a user of TT next year.

Ghost Forms made using this difficult

I liked being able to scan in tax documents and have them imported into the program. I inexplicably had 3 blank 1099-R forms added, and then at the validation check it is asking me to fill in each missing value for each form. I kept looking for these bogus forms and could not find them through the normal walk-through process. I was finally able to locate them and delete them by using the Forms menu option.
The truly frustrating part is that everything on my tax return has been filed with the gov. I shouldn't have to pay $50.00 and spend time with TT. The govt. should send me a bill instead.

Inadequate filing information for deceased person

Not enough guidance for filing for deceased person. Who sign's the form? Whose driver's license is supposed to be used? Where does the actual address get used? You have me put the address the mail is to be received but not the address where the person lived. It affects the state form too. Nowhere do I see my name on the actual forms that are sent in. I'm concerned about this.
