Some of Turbotax' explanations are disappointing

Some of the explanations in Turbotax are actually more confusing and less clear than the information from the IRS. For example, I took a class at a law school for a semester. Turbotax asked me whether I took the class to get a degree or other credential. Since my answer was "no," Turbotax determined that I didn't qualify. But the IRS' publication says I would qualify if I was trying to get a degree or other credential "or to get or improve job skills," and "improving job skills" was indeed my purpose, so I got the credit. Another example: in the section about education credits, Turbotax asked me if my child was a full-time student. Since my child was in college, my instinct was "yes," But when I clicked on the link "What does a full-time student mean?" Turbotax' explanation was: "The taxpayer's child qualifies as a student if he or she was enrolled as a full-time student at a school ... The term 'school' includes technical, trade, and mechanical schools ..." This seems to imply that college is NOT a "school" within the meaning of "full-time student." The IRS' publication does clarify that a full-time college student is indeed a "full-time student" as used in that question. I may still use Turbotax, but my experience has significantly reduced my faith in Turbotax' explanations, as they can be confusing, inaccurate or incomplete. As a result, when I have questions, I will more likely consult the IRS' publications

Turbox Tax does not fix reported problems

I have had to refile 3 times now due to an incorrect PIN that was in fact correct but your efiling system did not transmit it correctly. I also see that it was previously reported by another user and apparently ignored because its not fixed and happened to be as well.

Turbo Tax Help is Lousy -Poor Tech support

Your Online help is very poor. I was stuck at filing because of missing ID of a National brokerage firm. They do not have a state id. The program will not le me file and your team members could not even attempt to understand the problem. They simply ask to check with the institution for ID. How can they give an ID when there is no State ID
Box 8 also states that if there are more than 1 state see HELP. I tried it The answers are from internet and are totally unrelated. You need to provide better tech support

Not sure its the right software for me

Its getting harder to use or maybe it does not work with Firefox. It does not tell me how close I am to the standard deduction.
