Many frustrations and problems with 2024 Turbotax!

did not request forms in orderly fashion. Fed return completely bypassed 1099-INT and 1099-R. Wasn't until taxes computed that I saw income was way off. Started all over and found place to enter them. There should have been a prompt asking for them so they couldn't be missed.
medical expenses on itemized deductions very unclear for insurance premiums as to whether to include Part B contributions or just additional medical insurance premiums.
many times items came up to "review". There was an edit button and a trash can but the trash can didn't work. You couldn't get rid of duplicates or file that you wanted to edit. Extremely frustrating. Just kept trying over and over with no ability to get rid of the review.
The worst was when I thought I was done and was just reviewing. Suddenly my taxes changed and Schedule 1 appeared. I knew I had never filed schedule 1 in my life but no matter what I did I couldn't delete it or edit it.
A friend who had recommended turbotax was unable to help. She found multiple complaints in her help section about problems with Schedule 1. After just about giving up and going to a tax service, I somehow managed to delete Schedule 1. I have no idea how. I had been trying for hours.

I'm not impressed with the new format and lack of detailed information regarding the entries. The changes seem to be just cosmetic and not improvements. You make a lot of assumptions in the program. Also I don't need that Offer for advice for $60 continuing to come up after I have skipped it, it would be better placed at the top as an option. You should imbed the advice into the review part of the program. I had a duplicate 1099-R entered, exact same amount, same source but is was not detected or questioned in the review. You downloaded 2023's data when I started for 2024 but I can't find the source of that data to review?

TurboTax can't be trusted

This year had lots of problens. One is ira distribution from 2 iras rmd where only one was use to take the total distribution. 2nd where items marked as est. and did not come up under the review to correct. will try something new next year.
