TurboTax is fairly easy to use

TurboTax is fairly easy to use. But I wish a Linux-compatible version can be developed, because I'd like to get off of Windows or Mac completely.

you've gone seriously backwards. this years product is worse than your 2022 version.
This years version is totally intuit making money centric.
Every click is designed for you (merely trying to do your taxes) to spend more time on intuit products.
I will search high and low to make a switch prior to the 2025 tax prep season.

Charges made that I didn't ask for nor wanted

I had to keep going back to take out the defense charge twice and when I thought I succeeded and finalize the E filing, I discovered I was charged $45 anyway. I didn't want this feature. It was unnecessary for my simple filing.

Stick with Online Software over Desktop Software

The desktop software is so clunky and inelegant. I didn't realize it wasn't connected to the online account either. The advertising/instructions/upsells are intentionally misleading for state filing fees and fees for processing deposits directly to your bank account. I didn't fall for it. Read carefully so you don't either.

I have used Turbo Tax for many years and I feel it is easy for me to use. I will continue to use Turbo Tax as long as it remains afforable and the information is reported correctly to the IRS. Thank you!
