Good, but simplify desktop SW activation

I have been using TurboTax desktop for many years. Here is a suggestion: Skip the log in for desktop activation. Just allow the activation code to be entered directly. Much simpler.

Great as usual, but some differences.

There were some input fields that were less intuitive than previous years. Although I feel confident after the fact that I put the correct information into TurboTax, it was not as easy as previous versions.

TurboTax Good, but Not As Good As Prior Years

It was a little harder to enter investment income this year. Each 1099 required multiple steps to land on the screen to actually enter the data manually, and it took more time than I recall in prior years. Also, the investment items that were returned from the prior year return to review still went through all those steps, then created a new record so the record created by carrying over the prior year had to be deleted. This update just didn't work as efficiently in years past. Still a fan, but liked the prior year version better.

Turbotax is too expensive

Too many add on fees for state taxes. Also, when reviewing the return there were too many field I had to enter data that turbotax already knew.
