TurboTax makes it easy!

TurboTax is very easy to use, especially for those who do not understand tax issues. I understand them enough, and TurboTax makes it a quick process compared to the old days of manually filing taxes. The software covers a broad range of tax situations, saving costs on professional fees for assistance. There is a wealth of tax knowledge and advice available to answer questions.
Pros: My employment status changed this year, I bought or sold investments

product in and of itself is great. the extra fees to e-file are ridiculous. especially the $40 add on to process the federal refund to pay for the state e-file

Fix this for next year

Most of Turbo Tax worked well. My only issue was with an error that continued to appear and had no easily accessible fix: Form 7206 Self-Employed Health Insurance Deduction that is not supported for electronic filing. I had to dig into the forms just to find where this error even was, then had to search through online forums for the solution. I was able to finally find the Schedule C Worksheet where I could fix the error, but it's a runaround I and many other business owners could certainly do without when using our $50+ program.
