Greedy many countries file online with tax service

Intuit should be in support of direct online filing with the IRS. There is no need for a mandatory middleman.
Instead, Intuit spends a great deal of money lobbying Congress to prohibit IRS from allowing forms to be filled and filed directly on the IRS site.
Many countries allow taxpayers to file directly online on their tax services' website.
Greedy.

Frustrating

I can't tell if my Minnesota state taxes and my Minnesota Property tax form was submitted. Now I am left wondering if they were. It said my Minnesota property tax was already submitted, but I then can't tell if my Minnesota state taxes were submitted. It is very frustrating and given that there is a deadline and additionally both have a refund, not sure how to track the refunds if I can't tell if they were submitted since Turbo Tax doesn't show 3 line items: Federal, state, state property. Also adding a IP Pin was frustrating.
