Issue with TurboTax e-file payment system

Entering the tax data was fine, but for 2 days the payment system would not allow the "pay by credit card" feature to work. Of course the system to process the payment by allowing the state e-file to deduct the payment from the federal tax refund for and additional $40.00 worked perfectly. Instead of the usual $20 fee I would have been able to pay using my credit card, I ended up paying $60.00. I have used TurboTax for years more than 10 years without any problem, but this is likely my last year using it.

Some software updating issues but otherwise great

Software wouldn't update this year. Had to uninstall and reinstall manually.

It left me wondering

The interest, dividend, etc. import was not as clear as it could have been. Once I imported data from a nationally recognized institution (Charles Schwab) the result left me unsure so I decided to enter data manually. Plus, I could not delete and entry and start again. And I'm still wondering if TurboTax counted my interest, dividends, etc. twice. So why did I not contact you guys earlier? Because I procrastinated and approaching the tax deadline I just wanted to get my taxes filed.

Unnecessary Requirements

Found it very difficult to use, even though I have used it for several years. Asked for some information that was not needed. For instance, Illinois gives a tax credit for property taxes paid if certain conditions are met. I did not meet those conditions but was still required to provide my property tax index number to complete my Illinois return. Why should I be required to provide that information when it is not needed in my return?
Pros: I moved, I bought or sold investments

TurboTax 2024 is Worse Than TurboTax 2023

Very tedious about INT and DIV income. Every time it asked to import despite my not wanting to import for the many entries (I remember 2023 asked also, but after a couple times it asked if I wanted to skip from then on). It then asked me to select the type (INT or DIV in my cases) despite my selecting an INT or DIV item at the beginning, which was very annoying and added steps. Far worse than 2023.

Software is terrible. Drives you to specific forms, even if you need to use a different one. Interface is NOT intuitive at all.
