Almost did the job

I moved during the year and have Exempt State Income. If I did not have some tax knowledge and computer skills I would paid tax on that income because the Tax Program is not set to divide income and allocate Exempt Income on a Part Year Resident. I hope that the programmers will review that portion of their Program.

Turbo Tax is Excellent!!

I have used Turbo Tax Deluxe for 18 years and find it easy to use and understand. I haven't had any problems filing or with the Federal and State returns. I have lived in three different states during that time and Turbo Tas has been great! I highly recommend using Turbo Tax Deluxe if you have a lot of deductions.

Solid Program

The program worked well for me. My return is fairly simple, so I got through it pretty quickly. I have been using the program for over 10 years.
My complaint is that since the program can only be downloaded from the internet, it doesn't feel as secure. I had pulled the link to Turbotax Deluxe from a web search and proceeded from there. I was fairly far into the process before I was asked to log in. Felt a little unsecure to me.
It all worked out in the end, and there is now another return in the rear-view mirror.

Turbo Tax is Awesome

It was fast, easy and a spot to get clarifications when I needed to confirm something. Also when it took me out of the tax return for something for Turbo Tax, it made the jump right there and I didn't have to go to another window and open Turbo-tax. That was a great improvement!

The new RMD questions are very confusing. You try and answer but the program only accepts one answer which may not be correct.
