Would prefer Turbo Tax CD

I had used the CDs for many years and was disappointed that they were not available this year. As a result, I used the Download version and lost all my previous returns on my computer when I downloaded it this year. I looked online for help about restoring them and saw that many other people had a similar experience. I was disappointed that as I was working on my taxes I couldn't compare my 2023 entries to this year's 2024 entries.

Still Trust TurboTax -But would rather have DISC

Still like and trust TurboTax.
However, I did need a bunch of Support Help with the software this year. There is some glitch with the download software that required me to activate the software every time I opened the software. I have been a turbo tax user for 20 years and this is the first time I have ever had an operational issue with the software. This is also been the first year that a CD version of the software was not available. I equate the two into my issues this year. Kuddos to Support - They didn't fix it but we got a work around so I could finish my taxes.

Turbo Tax Problem

I have been very happy with Turbo Tax and have been using it for many years but this year after working on my taxes and closing the app. I came back and it gave me a 70001 error code and I did everything it said online and nothing worked. I had to use another computer but it wouldn't open the file I saved on the other computer. It gave me the same error. I had to do my taxes over again.

Some of the explanations were vague. The walk thru option occasionally started in the middle of a section so when it later walked you thru All options, you came across the same section a 2nd time
